February 28, 2026 from 10am-1pm - Graphite Pencil Drawing
This is a fun and comprehensive class that’s loaded with information about composition, shapes, angles, space and value (just to name a few). Learn how to start a drawing correctly by creating the right “foundation”. It leads to success every time, with good, professional looking, accurate, mood boosting results!
Instructor will bring a reference drawing, but intermediate to advanced students should bring hte subject (reference) pictures of their choice. All levels are welcome and can progress at their own speed. Advanced students can improve their drawings by correctly using composition, value, depth of field/planes, foreshortening and perspective. Each student will receive individual attention.
Instructor's Note:
"I love to teach this class because so many people that really want to draw well or improve their existing skills can be hindered by not having the missing information needed to get them there. I fill in those missing pieces, and I love watching it unfold, and seeing all those smiling faces!
Join us - you’ll be impressed with what you can accomplish. "
"After all these years of teaching, I’ve learned that it has empowered me to help so many with their desire to draw and paint and do it well.
I love to see my students feeling great about their art, about themselves, and about what they’ve been able to accomplish.
I love to teach! It’s not magic, it’s knowledge!"
